Thanksgiving

For us at Field To Meal, Thanksgiving highlights what we’re all about: delicious, nutritious, home-cooked food made with fresh ingredients.

As we spend the holiday with family and ponder all the things we’re grateful for, we can’t help but to feel gratitude for all the people who’ve supported us in bringing a little bit of the wholesomeness of Thanksgiving to our customers throughout the year. Every meal bag we deliver comes from the hard work of local farmers who’ve invested so much of themselves in each head of broccoli, every bunch of carrots, the potatoes, choice meats and everything else that makes up our meals.

We’re thankful for Fran Sweet of Fran’s Fryers in Red Oak. For over 25 years, Fran has labored in producing a variety of meats that are better than natural -- free of both synthetic hormones and pesticides.

We appreciate the family behind Highway 19 Produce in Athens, Texas. Mark, Pam, Bobby and his wife Halie, and their daughters Emersyn and Lindsey, tend their soil and nurture their crops all year long so they can produce the all-organic, GMO-free fruits and vegetables that make for delicious, nutritious ingredients in our menu items.

There’s C and J Farms down in Corsicana, makers of honey infused with lavender, vanilla and lemon. They also grow some of the tastiest herbs you’ll ever find.

Mill King in McGregor, just outside of Waco, is our supplier of organic milk and cream produced without synthetic hormones. Their operation has spanned several generations and remains a family-owned business to this day.

Full Quiver Farms in Kemp, Texas provides us with the best local, raw-milk cheese. We are proud to partner with farmers like Michael Sams who remain true to the local, sustainable and natural farming.

The Yellow Farm House in Waxahachie is our supplier of our natural, grass-fed beef and pork produced without antibiotics or synthetic hormones.

The Chandler family of Chandler Family Farm in Mabank is our primary supplier of organically-grown, non-GMO corn as well as seasonal produce.

We appreciate Ross of Misty Moon Farms in Argyle. You’ll find a little bit of what he grows in just about every meal you order.

And as we’re thankful for these local farmers, we join them in thanking you, our customers -- the most vital part of the Field To Meal family -- for your support that makes all our work worthwhile.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Amy
